The distinctive designs in the Adana collection are reminiscent of the rugs that were produced in Turkish villages during the 16th and 17th centuries. The goal of this collection was to stay true to the same symmetrical knots used in those time tested rugs from Turkey. Because these rugs are hand-knotted in India, they are what you would call Indo-Turkish rugs. These rugs were made famous by their tribal, geometric, and cultural designs.
