Our Story
Rooted in the heartland, HedgeApple is part of a multi-generational, family-owned business that began in the 1960s. What started as a salvage operation quickly evolved into a trusted home furnishings company with 17 locations across the Midwest. In 1999, the Smith family launched their first online venture, PlushRugs.com, followed by the founding of HedgeApple in 2016. Today, we carry forward a legacy of quality, integrity, and personalized service—bringing inspired spaces to life, both online and in our hometown showroom.

Located in Lawrence, Kansas, our showroom offers an in-person look at HedgeApple’s curated collection of furniture and decor.
